Hi! we are EMS

With 54 different ethnic groups, Vietnam is regarded as a multiethnic nation. Ethnic minorities are not acknowledged by the government as being indigenous peoples. Instead, everyone else besides the Kinh majority is referred to as an "ethnic minority" by the government. Varying ethnic groups have quite different educational levels, especially when it comes to literacy rates. Problems they might also face is poor poverty, regional discrimination, and limited access. 

 

EMS is a non profit organization created by students from Vietnam Australia school in Hanoi. Our aim is change people's perspective of ethnic people by expressing the distinctive characteristics and cultural identities of each group, as well as by assisting ethnic communities in gaining wider awareness. In our page, we discusses about various ethnic minorities and their unique characteristics. Then talk about the difficulties they have to face, how these minorities should be treated equally by the general public and the government and they should have the same rights and voices as us.
